I started to use Bringer Knuckle more after being introduced to Our Combat World discord server They made me realize having it tied to Square isn't ideal, especially if you want to pull off harder strings like Jocky chains and Jocky combos in general So I switched it to L1 and use Square for DT instead It's weird getting used to it (especially since this scheme should be used without activating Exceed, since most Nero combos are done with Exceed LV1 always active), but I'm able to almost always pull off at least an Exceed LV1 after each attack and a Bringer Knuckle on every last hit, increasing total damage and enemies stun by a lot brbrSo, if you find it difficult to implement it in combos, try mapping it to a shoulder button It really does make a difference As of now I have Shoot on R2, Break Away on the D-pad, DT on Square and Bringer Knuckle on L1, the rest is standard

When you do Nero's version of stinger, not only is the window for the knuckle attack massive, but it enables you to keep enemies from moving away, enabling you to more properly combo, there's really no reason not to

I recall seeing a certain move used by a player when Vergil impales nero with his own version of a stinger, but he got out of it using a special spectral arm attack In fact it threw and slashed Vergil with a spectral katana tooi'm guessing that was this Bringer Knuckleok so that's one mystery solved

If y'all want to do something super awesome, get the Queen Empusa (or most other enemies) into stun so you can use the Devil Bringer grab attack special animation, but instead of your regular bringer, you use the buster armbrbrWhile the animation occurs, activate your dt, spam your summon swords (shoot), and spam your bringer knuckle for a stylish light show! 😁

if anyone plays mortal kombat and has a decent understanding of the mechanics, think of cancelling i like to cancel into bringer knuckle nearly the second i use a normal attack the cancelling mechanics for bringer knuckle work fundamentally the same as exceed, only instead of pressing L2/LT at the end of said attack animation, you’re cancelling it nearly at the beginning with R2/RT

Bringer knuckle is used while you are animation locked As in if you cannot animation cancel you can bringer knuckle At least that's how it appears to me

The easiest way to use bringer knuckle is to use healther skelter normal move and while nero is staggering the enemy spam the devil bringer buttonbrSorry for the spelling 😅

It actually is not so hard to mix knuckles between attack and exceed but it’s frustrating that if you fuck up the timing you’ll do a grab or a snatch

Dammit You Beat me to it I was WAIITING on this to be found as I edit my video for so LONG nobody has it in videos Bottom Line if i may add b*ANY TIME IN WHICH NERO IS LOCKED IN A CANNED ANIMATION, INCLUDING TAUNTS, GETTING STAGGERED, AND MAX CHARGE SHOT*/b this is viable Attack, and Bringer need to be "plinked" or you'll do the Grapple it works in the animation of Breaker Attacks ANY time and I mean ANY time Nero has no control (it does 8 dmg per punch btw) and tracks Dynamically Again ANY and all Attacks in your arsenal Breakers, Charge Shot, When you get hit the Longer the Animation the more you can get out Helter Skelter for example? 4 Hits RawHide? In between your button sequence you can squeeze 1 Bringer punch in the first part, 2 in the second and 3 in the third Lastly, When you Grapple with the bDevil Breaker/b you can hit the Devil Bringer input to strike upon/ during incoming I'll have my Video up Monday or Tuesday good find sir there are very few who know this

Not sure if anyone's brought it up, but one of my favorite techniques with Bringer Knuckle is using it during taunts You can Bringer Knuckle during Nero's air taunt for extra damage and style!

Its great for when you are struck by an enemy and caught in a stun animation (especially Fury) while caught in a stun from Fury you can just tap the bringer button a few times to knock him off of any follow up attacks Great safety net

Don't forget you can hit (or mash for lengthy ones) r2 during a damage animation after Nero is hit to use knuckle and hit/stun the enemy while you are recovering from his damage animation Super useful against the fury since you can use it even after you've been slammed into the ground or missed a parry and want to recover while it retreats

My impression of this move was that it's second rate to exceed and enemy step, but using it while charging streak looks fun and potentially useful! Another thing is, if you're locked on to the enemy, mistiming it will make nero do a snatch

other fun things to note about this mechanic It also works with a number of your starting taunt frames If you do a taunt and immediately start mashing the bringer button, you can get 2 knuckles out, and if you do an air taunt you can get up to 3 knuckles out if you do it right Other "knuckle frames" include dodges and stun frames If you're stunned or tumbling or just flinching in general you can send a knuckle attack out I'll need to experiment more but I'm pretty sure your devil trigger burst also allows knuckles to come out Oh, also rainbow allows knuckles, which is fun
