Its hilarious to see people complain about their stuff getting stolen, that's That's a feature not a bug of a decentralized currency with no authority The express point is to remake cash and specifically one to one transactions, but people are mad that cash can be stolen or scammed out of them Theyre mad about it being too accurate and successful at the goal Comment from : Ivan Dusseau |

This video is YouTube canon Comment from : Miegodo |

When Lawrence Lessig wrote that, "Code is Law" he meant that the proprietary closed source code forced upon you by Microsoft or Apple has the power ultimately to control your life by controlling what you can and can't do by controlling what your computing devices can and can't do "Code is Law" means that their proprietary software make Microsoft and Apple into being the effective government in society The idea that "Code is Law" did not mean what the crypto-bros take it to mean, that you as an individual can make up whatever laws you want simply by writing code That is never how "Code is Law" actually worked Comment from : Benjamin McLean |

1:47:15 It wasn't that hard to predict, but ya did it to a tea Ai is the new blockchain now lol Comment from : ItsJoeyG |

I'm not particularly a crypto fan but all of the criticisms of crypto currencies particularly Bitcoin seem a bit hollow compared to government Fiat currencies Is the USD just a greater fool scam that's kept going for a century? Comment from : bobdole57 |

I love your videos but feel I must provide some claritybrAt 36:00 you say that converting crypto into cash is the step that is a taxable transactionbrHowever, the IRS treats crypto like investment property, rather than a currency This means that trading one cryptocurrency for another qualifies as a taxable transaction, as only real estate property still recognizes like-kind exchange treatmentbrThis does not take away from the overall point of the video, and may be corrected later, but I wanted to clarify just in case Comment from : Josh Martin |
My discord profile picture is an image of the protagonist of my novel making a funny face It boasts all the benefits of an NFT profile picture and cost me nothing because I made it myself Comment from : OsirisLord |

All those NFTs listen out, some of them seemed pretty cool The only problem though, is that they're NFTs I might be interested otherwise, oh well!!! Most of them were less interesting than my average day just randomly playing with my $20 Midjourney sub though Comment from : Vazzaroth |
love how the selling of some old grainy early 2000 photos somehow turns into "Artists can make money from this!" brbrArtists just like the toddler who had her picture taken in front of a burning house? Those sales are more akin to selling excavated artifacts (Plenty controversial IRL!), of the early internet, than selling purposefully made art Comment from : Vazzaroth |

We all know that Lilith came to Earth in the First Impact, destroying her Spear of Longines and beginning the cycle of humanity Comment from : Richard Ellinghaus |

I just heard about Cryptoland yesterday, the thing with the ugly coin that goes "sir, the Lambo is ready" "TO THE MOOOOOON" -- I've seen it described as libertarian seasteading -- and my god It would've been so entertaining to talk about that in this video I imagine it was thought of and has been cut, 'cause, you know, length of 2h18m22s Comment from : DenkouNova |

1:11:03 That clip aged well He predicted that NFT's will be "incredibly more valuable" in 2/3 years than they were in 21/22 In reality, NFTs are now totally worthless Almost all of them have lost 99 of their value lol Crazy to think that some people genuinely believed that those awful monkey jpegs would make them rich Comment from : signoguns |
The shade slipped into all these videos is so subtle and so sharp goddamn Comment from : oooCoffeeboyooo |

I feel so vindicated seeing nft's having failed as hard as they did Comment from : JarvisBailey VA |
At least the NFT community made decent forum avatar packs, deafults were always lacking Like who wants to be a soccer ball? Okay, maybe lots of people fine but are you really a soccer fan if your ball doesnt have sparkles, antlers, and the abu gharib background which is 1 of a kind? Also 1:00:50 this is basically describing dividend stocks But I'm a communist, so i mean, they're both scams Comment from : Tom |

Apparently I commented "Dog?!" on this video a year ago but I don't remember ever watching it until nowbrbrI've never trusted NFTs or Crypto from the get-go, and frankly it feels great to be vindicated I've been seeing a lot of NFT spam bots on The Platform Formerly Known As Twitter recently though, and it's getting on my nerves I'm almost certain it's because of who's in charge of the site nowbrbrEDIT: I think I remember now I believe I commented that because Dan pronounced Doge as "Dog" the first time around Comment from : Josh LZK |
55:50 He forgot the bullet point that people who make fun of nfts have lost no money on nfts Comment from : The Red Tower |

Around 2019 I'd learned about nft's How they were presented to me was very convincing in the fact it was never meant to crack the 1000 dollar mark! The person I'd learned it from compared to the "animation cel" trade You could buy an iconic cgi made scene from your favorite show or movie and hold it using the blockchain to have the cgi equivalent of an animation cel, and any one aware of how the trade works know only the most expensive cels go over the 1000 dollar mark The only exceptions being the most iconic and detailed cels (the most expensive going for $420,000 at auction in 1999 The cel in question being "Mickey Mouse's first color adventure") NFTs were never meant to be what it became As a lover of animation cels it's unfortunate that the "nft cgi cel" trade will never recover Comment from : Kevin Hixson |
I watched the ad and im no closer to understanding why its called a "juicero" Comment from : Eldritch_Midnight |
blockchain is a great concept of looking back the transaction history, like in product, well if you can't trust normal logging data, what's stopping them from giving false data to the history, it's just a trust me bro thing, with another middle person to make sounds confusing Comment from : Edmund |

You know you can just say "cult" instead of "high control group" right? More people know what the former means than the latter Comment from : fraudulentfem |
totally agree about NFTs and the fact that the space has been a breeding ground for bad actors However your tone with respect to explaining BTC and ETH seems a little disingenuous considering both are up 1000's of over the dollar when you made the video and still to this day brbrThe truth is both have been some of the best performing assets over the last 10 years brbralso you seem to glance over the fact that yes banks handle dupe transactions fine already, that isn't the point its that governments can just print dollars on demand blockchain solves this yes there are tons of other issues, yes I agree with many points made, but you can't just walk past the fact that one of the major issues with every reserve currency ever created is the fact that they have always been fungible Comment from : Bear Crimes |
Be my boyfriend!! 🤗 Comment from : Colin Hardaway |

Brilliant video minus one error: SilkRoad was almost instantly replaced by new markets like AlphaBay and Hansa Market and many others Some of the replacements individually far exceeded the volume of SR, and combined they dwarfed it They’re still doing brisker business than ever (Although my forays there ended many years ago) Comment from : conzmoleman |

… In March of 2013, Attorney General Eric Holder responded to questioning from Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, who noted that there had been no criminal prosecutions of financial institutions or leading executives by the Obama administration In response, Holder stated, “I am concerned that the size of some of these institutions becomes so large that it does become difficult for us to prosecute them, when we are hit with indications that if we do prosecute—if we do bring a criminal charge—it will have a negative impact on the national economy, perhaps even the world economy…” Comment from : Tim Bo |
Gotta give Overly Attached Girlfriend props for having the chops to mint the NFT (via a third party, but still), sell it, and immediately cash out and never touch any of it again Comment from : Benjamin Nolan |

Its funny how nft bros are ok stealing art from artists and cry salty tears if someone right click saves their nft, or steals them by scamming Comment from : Old Time Games |
The DAO thing at 2:10:00 was emblematic of almost all Crypto "Wow, I heard that with this, there can be some actual benefits for people? :)" "Hmm no, that was just a marketing example, not what we actually do :)" Comment from : Taylor |

Watching this video as someone who has zero interest in finance or crypto solely to better understand how my illicit onion transactions work Comment from : Sylvia Sayed |
