I use a steel ruler to guard the edge and start from there, place REALLY lightly, which makes it much easier to straighten after My biggest multiplacer is 15 and the trick still works 😆 always have to resist nudging the drills with the tips too before I use straightener, because the tips push them down more than it can push them to the side, and I think it just pushes the glue underneath to be thinner and cure too much, such that by the time I get to use straightener, it’s really hard to push them into place or to stay straight Comment from : Alice Gong

Great video! Katie I notice you always work flat on the table, but I work on a standing slant board I have worked for years on diamond painting but never worked with square drills I am starting a Hawaiian Girl and her Dog I thought for a first square experience, a DIY project would be great! I thought you use Notmy mother’s mud or we wax I use them too! I also use glue dots! I will just try all of them again I used your white tacky museum goop but I felt it did leave a residue! I’ve found I get straighter more lined up square drills than when I single place I don’t checkerboard when I single place though because I go by color I need to try it with sectioning though Comment from : Glitter x Gore

Use “quality square drills” Boy is that the truth I’m doing a DP right now (my first square drills) and the drills leave “ a lot” to be desired Was going to be a gift, but most likely not now, especially , the giftee works solely on DAC Comment from : BarbaraSD
