One of the best descriptions of quantum computers and how they might break RSA encryption RSA itself is actually very easy to understand The reason many struggle with it is that the maths involved is unfamiliar, ie different to what most people have studied - but it's by no means hard Quantum computers on the other hand are hard to understand and most videos "explain" them by saying that they can do lots of calculations simultaneously Yes, OK, we get that, but HOW? This video goes a long way towards such an explanation, though I doubt whether any viewer is going to watch it and afterwards nip out into the garage and make one
