Replayed this recently and while the game is enjoyable the idea of needing to do 50 exact things completely randomly throughout your playthrough to get the "good ending" was always such dogshit game design to me You can go through this game helping people don't shoot anyone who surrenders forgive every person no normal human being would forgive save mutant creatures who were literally trying to kill you 4 seconds ago and still get the bad ending because you didn't eavesdrop to a random conversation between two random npcs in a random stationbrbrThe idea of morale points for a good ending is fine This game just didn't do it at all You had to do 200 of the things and still end up with the bad ending because just kidding you had to do 210 of the things Also enforced play style to receive good endings is bad game design 101 lol I just had to rant on this again because while the metro series as games are great good lord it must be some of the worst games ever made for forcing you to do an extreme and zero logic path to get the good ending

I got a good ending I'm so happy It took a long time to play because I explored everything in each level I listened to the npc talk for hours Watched the npc play for 15-30 minutes ;-; As for villains, I think that no matter how many times they betray me, But personally I think they deserve a chance from me, let it all go I like that better

I just finished Metro 2033 and Last Light in a row, I didn't even know there was a morality system hahaha I even killed every creature that stood in my way and I wondered why my screen turned white for a second when I did it haha anyways, great games! love this ending more of course, I dodn't even see why adding two endings if Exodus was just going to ignore one of them

I'm happy I'm not the only one having problem with moral pointsbrIn the end I was really willing to do anything to get the good ending, I wanted to spare the momma bear, but I understood it was a boss fight, so when she got wounded and left to die eaten by the watchers I just got away because it's nature ? I killed her anyway as I emptied 3 MGR 545mm magazines in her head This game is good but has problems with moral points AND creature resistance

Honestly I got the good ending on my first try, it is very similar to metro 2033's good ending requirements Generally stealth is easier and just be a good person and listen to npcs

Because the first time I played this game, I did a lot of things that are necessary to get the ending right and I didn't get it Just because I killed a fucking bear that tried to kick my ass 10 seconds before and looted dead corpses in order to survive and not become like them

You can kill both Pavel and Lesnitsky, and all your enemies, and get good ending Pay attention to Theater mission, there is morale point for almost every conversation, but it takes some time Listen conversations in Reich, take your time, don't rush That's for the start 🙂
