Upgrading RAM in terms of gaming performance doesn't boost your fps but instead prevents frame drops in games Eg my MSI GF 63 thin with an i5-10500H and RTX 3050 in Fortnite could reach about 160 fps dropping as low as 70 fps when it had 8gb RAM, but when I upgraded to 16gb it was at a stable 160-170 fps Warzone at 1080p lowest settings reached 70 fps dropping as low as 12 fps sometimes, with 16gb it is now staying at 80 dropping only to 60 So yes, 16gb can definitely be an improvement

It's important to note that while 16gb might not make a big difference in overall average FPS, in a game like Fortnite 8gb of RAM can cause some pretty severe stutters You might not see them in Creative mode but they're definitely there in a BR game Not to say 8gb is unplayable but I'd def recommend upgrading to 16gb if you can
