I feel like its a timing thing mostly Im just now practicing this and what im learning is that I have to wait till the car has to rotate a certain way before I can adjust the direction Its about finesse and feels like it has a little bit to do with delicacy of the control sitcks

I havent seen a single youtuber say this advice but hopefully it helps When air rolling I think knowing when to boost and not to boost is gonna help you significantly to understand the movements of your car and help you control your car in the air more

I always used L1 on a ps4 controller for air roll and on the ps5 controller my brain makes me use R1 lol and I use O for boost I am around a diamond lvl player and good at reads and in the air but just cant roll while in the air and tornado that great

My issue with air rolling is that after one or two adjustments my car is now facing the floor or a completely wrong direction Even following the principal of only inputting when you see the hood of your car and following the basic inputs to turn left and right I've found a few tricks to help prevent it but every tutorial I've ever seen hasn't done much to help The car doesn't stabilize itself afterwards like most people show and I guess that's what I'm having issues with even experimenting with the inputs trying all sorts of different things after just one or two adjustments the car is usually horizontal and about to nose dive into the ground from just inputting to turn right At the "perfect" intervals that YouTubers recommend
