i don't think the halving actually will have much to do with its price going forward It has such a small effect on the float its hard to see how it has more than a noise level effect on price with institutions buying up and cold storing in the billions Michael Saylor has said something similar - but hes arguing more for the Supercycle bull case He has a point, compared to the 2017 cycle this cycle is far more sedate, seems to have a higher floor level of support (DDs of only 20) and could well be longer running

The Bitcoin energy usage issue is FUD, but it seems to me that the military would still be necessary if the world transitioned from fiat to bitcoin today "Fiat is inefficient because the world's militaries burns oil and kills people" isn't a great argument I think it makes more sense to look at relative energy vs value ratio's--at least conceptually Practically, it seems impossible to make a useful comparison

Have you looked into ADA? eventually their proof of work transitions to a complete decentralized governance system I feel in 5 years, ADA could solve the energy issue, scaling issue as well as governance issue and might become the dominant crypto that replaces ETH brWhat happen to bitcoin when the mining rewords can no longer sustain the operating cost? and when the miners start to close down, so does hash power If bitcoing don't evolve in say 10-20 years, I don't see the miners will stick around
