Zipped cotton nice looking hoodie (Superdry is the best for me) to put it on or off easily (you never know the temperatures on board or inside terminals, or breeze into your head, it jumps), cotton joggers or cotton pants (in summer), basic short sleeve or long sleeve (cotton, extra in my cabin luggage), classic trainers/snickers to pass security with no beep) All heavy stuff into the cabin luggage, no heavy crossbody purses or totes, not saying backpacks) - too tiring)

One thing i always remember is that when traveling , carry a bag that has a zipper to close it Because so many times , your bags go through security checks, if it is open, things can fall off in the security check cabin and you would not even know it has fallen Also when you dump your bag below your seat in the flight if its a bag that has just buttons ( my Gucci is button , no zip) , chances are things may fall off and roll and u will not know Just a pointer Thanks Anna , you make fabulous videos and great content , give us fabulous advise

Hello, I am a little late to the party commenting on the video from 3 years prior I enjoy your videos, Anna, very much brSome of my personal tips I have acquired through the years are :brWhen traveling to the Caymen’s or similar, the tote bag I would use for traveling on airplane is the bag I use for the pool or beach It’s a black nylon Prada tote bag that easily wipes off and is water resistant It’s chic and worked perfect for both So I’m not packing an extra bag for the beach brOn airplane I always pack a pair of socks for long flights in case I want to slip my shoes off brWhen traveling from hot to cold I bring onto plane a light down jacket that easily tucks into my bag but I use on plane as a blanket or a pillow Works perfect! brOr traveling to warm climate I bring on board a neutral colored cashmere wrap On board to use as small blanket or pillow and at destination for the evenings with my dress or spaghetti strap cami Elegant and warm brAnd I always bring my favorite tea with me so when I board I can ask for hot water and the tea relaxes me This way I have the tea I enjoy brThank you, Anna 🌷

I always wear a beautiful scarf, Hermes or Gucci and bring a cashmere pashmina in a packing cube Both items are easily tucked in my hand carry bag The pashmina can double as a pillow or blanket as well Often the plane is drafty and I like my neck covered My pashmina has a fur collar so can elevate an outfit for dinner if needed

I agree with most, except for two points: the pants and the shoes Sneakers are must, shoes without socks are not recommended, you may need to take off your shoes, and you don't want your bare feet on the airport or the airplane floors Also, socks provided during flight can be used on top of your socks to protect them from dirt, otherwise they are usually wide For pants, wearing any pants with wide hem is impractical; they will clean the restrooms floors Elegant joggers and trousers with narrow hem will work though I have traveled very long flights, from very hot to very cold, and vice versa, and these are my two points

If you don’t want to bring a jacket on to the plane, I suggest bring your shawl wrap scarf in your tote bag, during long haul the plane sometimes can get cold Bring your wrap scarf during vacation can be so useful to cover your arms/ legs when you are visiting holy places such as cathedrals, churches , temples, mosques You can even use it when you are feeling the chills by the beach, outdoor restaurants etc Best thing about a wrap scarf is that it is less bulky and light weight

I find a comfortable/loose-ish fitting dress that goes past my knees to be great for me because I definitely have a similar problem with bloating on planes, and whatever waistband of my trousers can get uncomfortable It’s also great to combine with a nice jacket/cardigan for comfort and compression hose to keep my feet/ankles from swelling

As a bag for travel I really love and recommend the family of the Longchamp le pliage These bags are really durable, lightweight, (some of them are also foldable) and they come in all sizes, with different strap types and in a huge variety of colors The shorter handle fits also perfect on my suitcase so I don't have to carry it on my shoulder or arm while it's an easy to access bag I like to add a little silk scarf to the handle to accessorize and personalize the Bag a bit
