I have a friend who is planning on getting a macaw but there is a slight problem She has only done research for one week! And the reason she wants one is because she "bonded" with my cockatiel when she was holding treats!!! No treats means he doesn't even look at her Back on topic her excuse is that she will have the money Is there any way I can tell her she isn't ready for one She is also the type of person that rehomes animals all the time that she ends up buying Please help!!!! She also goes to school still and only holds the bird for her own feelings and attention

Great tips Sophie (and very cool shirt) Luckily Mo and Chuck don't really car about molting Sid's always suffering and the one who has short but heavy relapses In just a few hours his head looks like a hedge hog One day later everything's fine as nothing ever happened So yes we're curious about every trick that might help

Gotta love spring, all sorts of molting going on here I hate that my budgie Snow molts all over his forehead at once It looks like maggots on his head So icky He looks amazing otherwise :D

Hi Sophie, loved this video Just some questions from a VI Point of you Does feather casing feel like dust? Chip loves being preened, but I’m not entirely sure how to do it or if there are things I could do that would make him feel good and that would help his molt Do you just kind of gently pinch the feathers between your finger and thumb? Like what they would do to your hair? Also, Dave doesn’t like being touched, but loves me to rub his head with my cheek and kiss him Would doing that help with his molt? My hands and/or face are always covered in dusty stuff after I have been spending time with them Is that feather casing? Thanks x
