【Shades Finnish Pirates】I thought that there was only the figures, i would have expected a warhammer online to make a bigger splash and i really wonder how i heard of this only now Quess it's because i have steered away from MMO:s, so quess i have not been in the gaming loop to heard from this game and i see all the good reasons why Vanilla WoW was succesful mainly the warfare & the team effort

The original game died for 2 reasons The first reason is endgame pvp was mostly a back and forth zerg It felt like a large oldschool Alterac Valley battleground in World of Warcraft Sure, it could be fun once in awhile But to endlessly do it as endgame content became boring The second reason the game died? The devs saw how popular WoW became and decided to add WoW PvE elements to the endgame They started to neglect PvP And soon enough, you were required to do PvE content because the PvE gear was becoming better than the PvP gear

The game itself is fun, the devs ruined it, though During Covid if you even typed "Covid" into general chat you got perma banned That should tell you enough but there's more One reoccurring theme once I started PvPing more was if destro was going to win a city cap, the servers would just randomly shut down and everything would be resetbrbrThe devs are europeans, which on face value is fine In reality it means they're thin skinned, kind of racist, and easy to annoy So enjoy it at your own risk, or just play as a White Lion Because that is the main dev's main and they'll never be nerfed

I really had enough of GW2's stunstunstun CC and stun PvP I started this one because of this video and I don't regret it There is no good classic style MMO anymore WoW is not even a shell of what it once was, Classic is played through entirely there is nothing left but Warhammer Online

I remember joining and playing Black Orc on a RvR server I was level 11 and getting smoked by a level 5 Rune Priest The PvP was pretty insane though, ngl I woulda stayed if I'd had more of my mmo people interested in it vs other games

The devs ruined this game by playing 1 side They purposely remove things from 1 side and buff the other faction They also have rolled back the server causing everyone to lose progress/gear/time/currency and dont plant on fixing it they jus say farm it again Dont waste ur time like i did playing abou 200hrs of this game

Played this a lot with my old clan and even my son It died because it was to unbalanced (damned Bright Mages) and the developers refused to fix it Up to that point the game had been really fun and my son and I still remember it fondly Might take a peak at it again

I played this game when it first came out live and also Return of Reckoning I loved it I wasn't great at PvP, but I had the most fun with it as compared to any other game out there Balancing of PvP was always an issue, but the game holds a special place in my heart overall And I have never seen a game with such great looking end-game armors as that oneespecially for The Chosen

Love this game, I remember telling my guild I had to take a break due to having new born right before it shut down, and all the times I'd wake up to play early with a smoke and coffee the missus would get super upset that we didn't wake up together, she passed away but such good memories, that's me sneaking in some gameplay every morning haha, there's a new server aside from return of reckoning called Interbellum which isn't out yet but seems to be modernizing off of the bones of warhammer and seems fairly promising, might release in year or more

As a lifelong fan of all things Warhammer (I am 50) this game was an absolute joy when it came out and kept me entertained for years The PvP on this game is probably the most fun I have ever had playing with other people This game recreated the Warhammer I knew and loved in such an accurate and downright loving way that I will never forget the fun I had playing it Wonderful video sir, bravo!

Playing Warhammer 2 Total War, I feel like I'm dropped right into the Warhammer Online game, just in a different way The terrain and landscapes for Warhammer 2 are amazing and I feel like they landscapes and artwork are pulled directly out of Warhammer Online As far as Return of Reckoning, it's heroic what the fans, player Devs that is, did to revive this great game I played Age of Reckoning with religious fervor at release and have played RoR on and off over the years I can only dream for a 40k version as well as an AOR 2 with up to date graphics as well as a 3rd faction for Realm v Realm

PvP done right I remember when the servers started to empty Instead of each race starting in their own area, new characters all started in the same place I'm sure some people never saw a couple of the starting areas They were empty

Yeah, game is one of the best pvp games I ever played, tho there are reasons why it has low online, mainly braindead, one side biased admin Ask people about balance - Destruction(Horde) has to put 500 more effort to do the same thing as the Order(ally) side - when they do, they get nerf(seen few times) So people just drop Order side is too unbalanced, just ask about Rampage and slayer trains to give one example When your games are mostly about losing, or winning only when enemies got tired and just leave, that's not a real game experience You can also liste to arguments like - website statistics show that everyside is winning more or less the same ratio - Yea, When Order got enough and they log in to Destruction, or when they just go off If you play the game actively, you just see that 80 win ratio in Destro is vs nearly no one, and it's "allowed" only to certain degree

So many good memories when this game launched We had over 50 people in one ventrilo coordinating the biggest comeback Order ever did on the server The game put statues of the best pvp players in town and I was able to get my statue up there as a warrior priest

Imo the PvE is trash, but PvE is not the reason I have thousands of hours in the game(original and Private Server since 2013), it is the RvR!!!brAfter DAOC this game is the best "Group balanced PvP" I ever played, dueling is nonsense because of some mechanics it is not balanced, but if you have a group, tank and heal, it is a fun experience For example Choppas, Slayers, Wizards and Sorcerers dmg themselves while doing damage, but if you have a Tank and heal you are an killing machinebrThe Private Server runs legal there are no issues with Mythic, so I would love to see the game on Steam just to see how it will do with player numbers as there is not an single MMMORPG with good PvP/RvR 🤔brIt is also a great game for Roleplaying, it is very funny when an Greenskin-Warband doing RP 😂🤣

I remember getting out of the tutorial fighting the that giant world boss with 15 other level 3s felt epic And later going trough the vampire infected lands with my templar I loved it, i always had difficulty feeling good with a class in an mmorpg, but the Templar and the Engineer just feels at home The game was so good
