I visited Dresden in 1968 when much was still in ruins, stayed at what is now the IBIS hotel which was quite reasonable Went again 2018 and was really impressed by the rebuilding done to some extent by the East Germans but mainly by the west after reunification My wife was very impressed despite the fact that we have travelled extensively in Germany and have seen some fantastic cities and towns as well as the wonderful countryside We hope to visit again sometime Comment from : derek graham |
