I love it when an ink pad doesn’t always stamp properly on filled in areas, it just makes it nice and grungy It you watercolour over that it looks good too I always use Archival or Versafine Ink I like Water-based Inks for water-colouring and special effects When you stamped on the box it didn’t give the full image because the box would have moved down over, it needs to be laid flat on the table, or put something inside the box to make it firm

Try StazOn Ink for stamping on glassine, it will stamp much better and look nicer 🙌🏻

Thank you for this I ordered a custom stamp from a (UK) Etsy seller for my soaps and it took ages and kept being pushed back I hadn't realised Stampit was a small business I'll definitely try it next time!

I got my custom stamp a couple months ago It works pretty well and I use it to stamp packages, my wooden items and blank stickers bc it is WWAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than ink for my bEXPENSIVE/b printer (canon ts3320 or something)

Have you thought of a self inking stamp They last a long time before you have to add ink

You might even get a more even result if you don't hold the stamps on the handle, but on the flat part (eg the other side of the stamp), because that way you can apply pressure more evenly

I print on boxes before they are made up, that way a little more pressure can be used Love your stamps BTW😃

With some more intricate stamps sometimes it’s better to rub the ink pad gently on the stamp as opposed to pressing the stamp into it, this way you’ll get a better coverage, just make sure to do it gently or you will over saturate the stamp with ink with will cause a loss of detail and ink bleeding 😅

I would recommend watching some Youtubers who do card making because they are always stamping I am an avid stamper and I never buy stamps with handles like these It's not that you didn't have enough ink, it was that you weren't putting the right about of pressure on the stamps Push down on both sides of the wood rather than using the handle and I bet you will get a perfect stamp

For the pip box stamp it when it’s open, it’s more the pressure you’re applying than the amount of ink I think, or at least that’s what I’ve found Also it’s worth getting a soft cleaning brush for the fine lines, if you gently clean them every so often they last a lot longer
