ifyou cut it diagonal would it work better cause normally they cut it diagonal with other plantsso the surface area to absorb water get larger and dont get blocked of while sitting in the glass

Great vid, but to be accurate, ZZ is not stemless The stem is underground and modified to store food (rhizome or tubers like potatoes and snake plants) The rhizome is the stem and the rhizome sends out the new leaves, cause it's a modified stem
