I am definitely not bringing formal wear anymore I will still bring a few polo shirts, button-downs, and maybe one pair of khakis, but no suits and rarely a sport coat Normally, it's just for when going to a specialty restaurant

Our 1st cruise was 11 yrs ago and the didnt offer an alcohol package, my husband smuggled in vodka I took diet pepsi, they only had coke in board We are cruising in 2 wks I did get the hooks from one of your videos, and the reef safe sunscreen

You should provide a disclaimer re magnets/magnet hooks as might be against flight guidelines (strength) for those flying in to the departure port

Wow In the old days, I had a full size suitcase just for shoes Another just for makeup I think we had three big bags for clothes and formal wear We boarded with at least 6 full sized suitcases and a few small bags and carry ons! Oh those good old days before all the air plane extra charges

I brought my prescription medication But, I was suspicious about the food and other people's illnesses So, I brought Tums, Pepto, Imodium, BC Powder, etc none of these in liquid form, but powder or tablets

I bring a lot of gym clothes and prioritize doing some good exercise on every day of the cruise It's so important to get a lot of steps on the boat, use the stairs (if you are able), and work out Doing these things helps me relax more, feel slightly less guilty about all the indulgence, and I get better enjoyment from the experience My wife and I try to do the yoga classes every day (we cruise on Princess) Princess premium package gives unlimited fitness classes

We have been on a few Tui Marella cruises and they DO have a kettle in the cabin with tea and coffee In the suites they have a coffee machine too

I just go casual Five pairs of sturdy jeans A pair of black pants brFive ‘work’ type shirts in Tropical colors Here’s two big button flap pockets for security!brA long sleeve white dress shirt with a black bow tie brMy trusty dusty slip-on black shoes brFive unders and five pairs of socks brIf it’s cold, a down sweater and a warm beanie brAll my Rx meds and OTC stomach remedies brTwo bars of Ivory soap brFour microfiber wash rags brMy iPhone and the wall and car chargers USB-C cords brMy wallet, Passports and car keys brI send out a set of clothes for dry cleaning every couple of days to get more time brI use a twenty year old roller that I put new wheels on! I check it brI use a briefcase for a carry-on with a spare set of clothes, toiletries [311 baggie] and my Rx meds brAnd that’s it I refuse to take more So far this works great!

I’m bringing more dresses that’s considered church casual or work day dresses, mixed with sundresses this cruise to Caribbean area Next cruise to Alaska, I’m bringing warmer choices, dresses that’s thicker, and pants suits and a pair of slacks that can be worn with different tops Definitely cutting back on shoes, thinking of comfort on and off the ship! Lol gym clothing I am going on a cruise and thought to bring gym clothes Now, if I have room, I will I don't know if I would actually use a gym while cruising As for soda water and wine, I used to do that so many years ago but they take up too much room in the case and half the time I never used what I bought I used to even sneak drinks Frankly, it's a waste of space in the case for me As for the vaccine card, my sits in the wallet and hasn't been out for years Jewelry? No Just fun jewelry that if I lose, I am ok with I am too lazy to keep changing necklaces Makeup, me? Lip color only A camera, that is my phone As for clothing, I will have a super large suitcase of different summer clothes because I do plan on changing a lotclothes that DO NOT require an iron! Shoes, I plan to bring one pair of walking sneakers and maybe one pair of nice shoes and that is it Formal wear, for me and maybe others, its a question of what you consider formal I have a long white flowing dress I consider formal, it could also be considered a pool party dress or even a beach coverup For me, because it flows, its formal

I did take liquor in seltzer bottles back in 2005 I placed them in 2 gallon zip lock bags and wrapped a towel around them in m checked bag It was so impractical I worried the entire cruise that I would get caught or have an issue The stress I felt was not worth the money I saved

I live in one of those land-locked states, aka, I have to fly/check baggage to get to a cruise port That means one checked bag and a backpack of essentials I no longer bring formal clothes, shoes and multiple dressy things to wear in the evening and I never bring jewelry (no risk of losing it) I prefer to live my life in casual/sporty clothes I cruise to see new places and have adventures I might rethink the whole formal/dressy thing if I could drive to a cruise port, but I doubt it brbrI always bring magnetic hooks and if on a 10-day or more cruise, I bring my Scrubba bag, clothes line and laundry sheets I can wash undergarments, socks and lightweight clothes in a flash vs paying lots to have a bag of laundry done I’ve had garments go missing more than once in that process

I took magnet hooks for the first time on my cruise this past June I can't believe I never had them before They were so convenient Every time we went to the cabin we hung up our lanyards We kept our light weight jackets on them and other items They were great and I will keep taking them!

I usually cruise with a dear friend, but taking my HUSBAND this time! Its his 70th birthday! He is for sure not the dress up type So i bought matching hawaiian outfits for the dining room! To my surprise, he likes them! After 31 years of marriage, hiw knew! We live in Florida so my new outfits will get worn a lot! We leave at the end of the monthwish me luck😂

still bringing formal wear in remembrance of days gone by, no longer use sun screen lotion, not allowed in many beaches anymore, so for the last 11 years we use vitamin K lotion in cocoa butter or shae butter, apply same as sunscreen and it works great and naturally

When cruising Royal Caribbean you almost have to bring your own shampoo and conditioner They now provide a 3 in 1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash It's not pleasant!
