I don't understand the percentage chart at the end of the video because if you look for example at ace and 6 on one end of the chart it says you have a 59 percent chance of winning but on the other end it says that you have a 63 percent chance of winning Can someone explain? The percentage of likelihood that any pair will win win is nit just de look endant on the strength if that pair The number and type of players makes even a pair of aces winning chances vary significantly Comment from : @user-ou8xq8te8t |

small pocket pairs such as twos have good implied odds This meaning if you flop a set and your opponent has a strong hand like top pair, you'll get their whole stack Comment from : @Jack_gilbert158 |

I feel like you’re advising to play too tightly I think with everything in poker there’s always an exception and I don’t think you properly discussed that Let’s say the pocket 2’s for an example In an showdown situation you said 51chance of winning and that’s basically gambling so don’t do it, but if the pot is 1,000 and it’s only 200 to call I’m making that call every time If I play it 10 times I’ll make 5,000 and lose 1,000 Also if you’re only playing face cards pretty much, people at the table notice very quickly You always have to change it up and I feel like you should have at least mentioned that Comment from : @danielgeary1540 |

Why is AK 68 but KA is 66? Comment from : @jeremyfang1624 |
Quick question, when you talk about a pair of Aces or a pair of Kings have a certain percentage chance of winning, does that percentage change based on the number of players that are in the game?brEdit: Oof, I think you answered my question like a minute more into the video lol Comment from : @adamthewoodworker2571 |

Im tryna get my head around the last graph why does it say if you get a 8 and a 9 it will be 50 chance of winning but if you have a 9 and a 8 you will have a 53 chance of winning Why does the order of cards matter? Sorry if this is a stupid question im still new to poker and maby the order of cards does matter Comment from : @R3dStr1pes |

how is a connected suited ace king a top tier starting hand, but a suited ace queen is only mid, when all the benefits apply, only they arent connected, but for them to work they still need the same 3 cards? is it only because a king is better than a queen? Shouldnt it still be considered a high-level hand, if jack 10 suited is? Comment from : @Sparxy |

I never understood how a hand like pocket 6s is considered to be so much better with less players I mean yeah it makes since that there's less people with hands to beat it but it's still 6s do the chances of 6s holding the river really get much higher just because there are 2 less people playing? Which leads me to ask how often to trips come up? Comment from : @Kaib902 |

Another helpful great beginners video!!!! Comment from : @mesagirl224 |
My only qualm with this video is saying that 51 is not good odds Anything over 50 IS good odds because it means you're winning in the long run For example, card counters in blackjack only have a 1 to 2 advantage over the house, but accomplished card counters turn this into millions of dollars Now, you should obviously understand that a pair of twos is not, in any way a slam dunk Obviously, things like betting position, and what bets you're facing will ultimately determine whether you play, but implying that a 51 win rate is bad is just not a good understanding of math and probability Comment from : @nichtsistkostenlos6565 |

Great, fun introduction to poker hands, but at 15:06 what is that graph? Why does A-2 bottom left differ from A-2 top right and other same hands but swapped? I think it's also important to specify the amount of players this graph was based on, since a hand 2-3 being the best hand 35 of the time seems far-fetched, so I think the table was based on two players playing, which should have been mentioned Interesting video, good quality, but needs references to graphs Comment from : @gustsmurnieks4197 |
