If I have separate hard drives with Ubuntu and Windows, should I unplug my Windows hard drive when doing the update? I had to on the initial install to prevent Ubuntu from reformatting my Windows drive

My laptop froze during the upgrading process resulting in a kernel panic error and not beeing able to acces the GUI (upgrading from version 1910) I recommend backing up your data and doing a clean install via a bootable USB pendrive
