You're forgetting the single most important property of a mining device which is the Return of Investment - A card with 100Mh/s for 2000$ would return in 1000 days, while a card with 50Mh/s for 750$ would return in 750 days

I can agree other people use gpus other than gaming but gamers, photo editors, video editors, 3d artists, and the others don't flat out break the supply by buying more than 5 gpus I still have a gtx 1060 6GB and I can't even upgrade with what I want to upgrade with because of the shortages I'm glad Nvidia is atleast trying to deter miners from depriving other people from having fun or working

I haven't looked too much at it But when you say AMD is a third slower than nvidea Did you account for whether or not amd mining drivers is installed ? Because apparently (don't know if this is true) but I've heard that the drivers often can help increase the speed of the hash to be comparable with some nvidea cards ?
