I'm a relatively new scorch main and in my latest game I dropped (in my opinion) a 7 titan kill game, that game was an absolute GEM The enemy Ronins melted at my feet, tones were charred out within second and even two scorches fell to the fire Does this make me a good scorch main???

tempered plating not only makes you imune to your own damage, increasing your life span and making an aggressive playstyle more feasible, it removes crits from you so you're more generaly armored up it's pretty damn good

I run tempered plating on my Scorch, it lets me play super aggressively and close range

Scorch to me is area control and flanking When you force a titan getting pushed by your teammate intothermite traps and your shield they are so screwed He slows down the fight to ypur pace but if you want to be the main character or in the middle of the action hes not the titan for you

When using scorch on LTS or Titan Brawl I often reached the top when it comes to damage It’s arguable the best support Titan brJust be in the background, support your team with area denial and damage to lower the health of enemies brIf you’re the last remaining Titan your Flame Core should be ready to clean up the rest of them Works good except of open area maps

Dear God please do not suggest that people use the inferno shield kit Every scorch player should use tempered plating, it's the only viable scorch kit Inferno shield only works against bad players and you really cant rely on the enemy making mistakes in order to play the worst titan in the game

Scorch main! Few days ago I was playing attrition and we won I’m on the bride of black water canal and I get shot from behind by a monarch who decided it was a FUN and BRILLIANT idea to fight me a full health shielded scorch, in Melee combat when he was a less than half health monarch I of course won the battle and managed to execute himbrBefore he nuke ejected, I got it recorded he left mid execution

The thing about scorch is that even if you get beat in a brawl by another Titan, they still are getting domed because you likely put them into Doom State with all the damage output Scorch has brHis only true counter is a Northstar at range brEven Tones have difficulty with him brWatching a Scorch player damage three titans at once and making them all take an L for tangling with him is a thing of beauty lol

I'm a new player and I've found myself bathing in the thermite of scorch, sometimes when I get my titan I'm too scared to call him in because I'm like "what if I die? WHAT IF I DIE?!?!?!" Anyways monarchs are always being little pests to me, but quick question why do Ronins keep rushing me on half hp knowing full well they're gonna catch a thermite fever and a spicy execution from papa?

Tip from a Scorch main, turn your FOV to the max it can be Not onlt does it let you see pilots trying to jump on you easier, it also just feels nicer to hit ejecting pilots

Nuclear eject can be useful in close quarters to force enemies into an incendiary trap, and tempered plating allows you to use flame shield to push enemies into your traps more effectively so it can be useful for a more aggressive playstyle

Recently tried this in a public game and it worked pretty well, if you’re under a roof and a pilot rodeos you, look up and fire your thermite into the ceiling It’ll rain down on you and do a little damage, but it melts pilots faster than electric smoke could dream of

i use scorch as a in your face titan yes i dont live as long but ive gotten so many easy kills because they panic and run and i use tempered plating
