I have been both a GTA and RDR gamer on console Have been considering getting RDR on PC I have already enjoyed GTA5 on PC Have been seeing some pretty cool mods come out for RDR Any tips for someone going from console to PC, or do you think it is not worth the switch? FYI - I have several games that I have bought on more than 1 platform I have some games on PC that I also have on console and I have some console games on PS5 I also have on Switch for mobility

I played the game on both ps4 and pc and the difference between ultra pc and ps4 is a lot bigger irl YouTube compresses the video quite a lot and some of the extra detail is gone Also 85fps at 4K is a lot better than an unstable 30fps at 720-1080p

Well, the lighting and other volumetric stuff looks really good on pc, but I kinda feel that ps4 takes the spot in terms of textures and additional featuresthe colouring too is looking good in ps4 when compared to pc

Playing rdr2 on any platform it still looks great whether you play in ps4 Xbox or pc it still looks great this game and beautiful graphics on all platforms I have on ps4 and looks gorgeous

Consoles use high or very high settings Ultra is for pcs So consoles are INDEED powerful and the fps are capped to 30 by the choice of the developers See nioh 1 on ps4

While Console is the most cost effective in terms of gaming value The PC advantages cannot be simply interpreted on this video The Reality is PC version have an advantages on framerate, resolution, textures, lighting and overall atmosphere of RDR2 As long as you can pay the price of better pc hardware

Its a port to PC this game was truly optimized for the PS4 - Xbox x86 AMD Jaguar core architecture and the AMD GCN 20 GPU just think its a 16GHz-21GHz CPU running this game on a console

I have the game on console but because this game easily became one of my favorites I got it on PC because on my PS4 the game would have huge framerate drops when entering cities or when it got foggy I swear my PS4 was dying Sounded like a jet engine and I can't take it apart to clean it so I'm guessing it's just years of dust buildup I want to say the inability to expel heat is the reason for the FPS drop but my friend bought a PS4 brand new and had the same issue with this game dropping in frames I didn't notice a huge graphical improvement on PC, although there definitely were improvements in sharpness and lighting as well as having more advanced options when it comes to graphics the real seller was the improved FPS On a Ryzen 5 3600x and a Sapphire Nitro plus RX 5700xt I was able to average around 70 FPS with Ultra on pretty much everything, even the advanced options The believe the game looks better on PC primarily because of that buttery smoothness, and if you love this game it is definitely worth getting for a PC if you have one as that smoothness really is unbelievable You can even check steam for discounts as they often have the ultimate edition for $5999 which is just the base cost of the standard game anyway

I keep seeing comments on how 30 fps compared to 60 is a whole new experience, I dont think they realize 30 fps on console is perfectly fine Both devices work extremely well As a pc gamer im really impress with how well consoles are doing
