I would grab those quilts that are marked up, if you can’t get the paint off, I would cut them down and sew the edge on them Making pet beds for the animal shelter

Canes are left behind because once set down they seem to disappear My grandmother would loose hers all the time I put strips of orange flame duck tape on it It was never lost again and all the old folks were jealous Canes can also be donated to any community senior center

Lights sold in Ca have to be LED not any of the other kinds no Incandescent lights!!! no Fluro!!! When I was growing up the textile miles would take old clothes, cloth, in ( no under wear), wool was really sought after and re-use it My mother took a truck load in to the local mill and they knock some per cent off the room size throw she bought for our living room which had cold in the winter hard wood floors!!!!

Put on some decent shoes some long pants and jump in that dumpster you're spending more time trying to get one item out of there when you could just jump in and get what you need to get wear the same clothes if you have to and only dirty up the 1D dumpster-diving it's not going to kill you and it will wash off wear your gloves put on a mask
