Tremendous amount of people still have adjustable rates! Many people have told me their interest rates are sky rocketing so they refinancing for 30 years which banks offering 6 - 65 so they don’t have to deal with 8 , 9, or more by the end of the year

Hi Jack, could this 13 spike in mortgage applications just be in rollover renewals from 2 or 3-year deals or people renewing ahead of anticipation of even higher rates? Not sure they are people ATMing their homes In Canada, you can pledge your home for a revolving credit line as opposed to a mortgage Not sure if it is the same in the US Regardless I enjoy your show in the mornings

My friend bought an over priced home last December She took a variable interest rate mortgage 2 lower than a 30 year With expectations that rates would come down It resets every two years at current rates I told her she’s screwed What say you? This action in refi’s could be variable’s resetting?

I have 40K in home equity I'm not touching it with a 100ft pole! lol brNot even if rates were under 3 I'm more interested in paying off the loan It's quite possible I'll be able to pay it off in 2 years if I'm really stubborn brHopefully when I sell it, it makes for one hell of a down payment on the next house 😁
