what haircare products do you use to have such an easy comb through after washing your hair? I get terrible knots that make me nervous to comb out

For anyone watching this in 2024 just know that there is something you can do for the shedding! I started taking a hair and skin supplement and it definitely helped Of course it didn’t stop it completely but it definitely limited the amount of hair falling out every day which is the best you’re gonna get with this conditionbrGood luck everyone

Thank you for making this It honestly brings me so much comfort I’ve been losing so much hair over the last year and my doctors would only tell me it’s normal and to use minoxidil leaving me feel completely written off and trying to figure out remedies on my own I even started getting a sore/itchy scalp so it was pretty alarming I think I might be nearing the tail end hopefully but we’ll see once July rolls around 🤞🏼

I had a really bad virus with a prolonged high temperature and was very ill for 3 months 12 weeks after my recovery I got Telogen effluvium My hair has been coming out for 8 months and has just slowed down to a very small amount I lost about two thirds of my hair so it was quite a severe case However, my hair is growing back thank goodness brI didn’t deal with it very well and found it very distressing for about 4 months but eventually accepted it I have massive sympathy for anyone who has this Hang in there as it will grow back

Hello everyone! brReading your comments makes me feel less alone in this I always had such thick long beautiful hair I used to receive compliments about my hair all the time Two years ago I started dealing with Telogen effluvium hair loss due to stress and I was losing so much hair that I had to cut it way shorter It has been a very traumatic journey My hair was part of who I was and still, after two years I don’t feel myself 100 I went to 2 dermatologists and I take supplements Yes, my hair is better but still, when I wash my hair it’s shocking, when I wake up my bed and pillow are full of hair, and every time I brush my hair there is hair all over the floor I´m taking care of my hair more than I ever did before and I still feel so scared every time I have to wash my hair It feels that it doesn’t have an end

I am blessed that I have stupid thick hair I have been going through this and losing as much as what you have shown in that bag for over a month now I lost 40lbs rapidly from WEGOVY and a month after I stopped the drug, this started I have also been under a lot of stress and I've had Covid twice I am pretty sure its probably cause of the weight loss though I definitely see a thinning difference But when I split my hair, I can't really tell THAT big of a difference I just know its a lot thinner than what it normally is Its so sad Can't really do much about it except wait it out

I'm a nurse, so I knew immediately what it was I'm so sorry it took so long for you to be diagnosed I was in the hospital for a month 2 months ago My hair started to fall out about 3 weeks ago, and I'm already VERY bald I have a severe case I had beautiful hair, and it's causing depression I starting using Minoxidil It works better on women than men It won't help though for a few months I'm also taking iron now since I tend to be anemic, which can cause hair loss I wish I had as much hair as you do, so it could have been worse You're still beautiful and don't look bald to me either I can't even hide mine it's so bad That large gap you showed us, that is all over my head I'm sorry to women that this happens to It's very hard I hope you're doing better Your hair will almost always grow back, which is the good thing!

I had my own expereince with TE in 2022-2023 My experiences was similar but my shedding waa extremely fast brI had an accident and shattered both of my feet They were so bad i couldn't leave my bed for six weeks This was in July In Nov i noticed my hair thinning but i didnt think too much of it Within a couple of weeks i lost more than half of my hair and what was lert felt like straw I kept my hair line but everthing up top was gone It was all scalp I had juat finalized my divorce of 17 years too It is very very unsettling to lose all of your hair so quickbrIm 51 and a male bur a full head of hair and no baldness in my family A lot of people just said get over it Its just hair What did you expect? Never lose you hair? None of that helped I was open about it and posted on Facebook what i was going through brI did my homework - i knew what was happening wasnt normal balding You dont go bald all at once and quickly When i read about TE it made total sense to me I read that if i started rogaine i would shed MORE and when i stopped i could lose what i gained So i did nothing but wait The shedding stopped almost as quickly as it began I still had hair up front so i combed that back and wore my hair slicked back Nine months passed and i wasn't seeing the bald patches anymore but my hair had so many different lenghts it was hard to know what was what It hadn't been cut in almost a year June 1,2023 i got my hair cut short and all of my hair had grown back ALL OF IT If you have TE dont panic Its the most common cause of hair loss Most times it will grow back 100 brThanks for this post

Not sure why you even combing wet hair like this when you have issue like that I have tremendous hair falling past few months I am 45 though I have family related hair falling issues but your age I had thick full of hair Dermatologist not always helpful just cause they are expert I had enough experiences with dermatologist for my skin and hair issues Minxodil not always helpful not go with everyone scalp for me I cant cause I have itchy scalp But you can use rosemerry water or right rosemerry oil , have same thing like minxodill thats more natural And If someone says nothing much to worry, I see not bad thing, if you stress too much on hair issues, you be sure loose more hair Hair issue you having more like from stress, it will come back in times but stressing the way you do, ain't help And if its androgen alopcia which I think have i just have to accept that Just eat right, take vitamins and dont shampoo every way, use gentle shampoo or one that really help thicken hair As we age women loose lot of hair anyway I am sure you be fine in years just dont brusj hair too much on wet hair and stop stressing about hair If all fail, well hair wig only option

Also there is sooooo many chemicals in our food and water that messes with our hair I remember years ago there wasn't this type of problem Now hair loss is happening with younger people and it's happening a lot We live in a chemical induced world It will definitely mess up our body

Rosemary essential oil, which they say is a natural form of minoxidil Massage into scalp stopped my post covid hair shedding within a couple of weeks Unfortunately it had gotten pretty bad before I even realized what was happening Please do not allow animals around this product in any way shape or form I am taking a variety of supplements including pumpkin seed oil gel caps, fish oil and an excellent multivitamin, biotin And other miscellaneous supplements I watched a short clip from Dr Axe whom I believe is a naturopath he recommends a collagen supplement as well In any event my hair is growing back although patience is key Really hope this helps!

TE lasts 3 to 6 months and any longer it is considered chronic and that is not normal TE so you are incorrect sorry!

Oh my gosh!!! I have Crohns too and telogen effluvium!!! I have been researching the connection and can’t find much but I swear it’s related! I’m subscribing! My hair breaks off too I’ve been suffering for 3 years with it Looking into hair extensions and wigs I found that prednisone made my hair fall out more
