Over the past couple years it seems that Wizards has really honed the watcher's experience with well-balanced commentary and clear videos that display key cards It is interesting to listen to an extremely experienced player alongside a (sometimes) more entertaining amateur discuss the matches showcased on this channel In this "mythic championship" we see, in my opinion, a huge over extension The commentators are showmen and women who are either not experienced in the game or not experienced commentating---and some seem to be inexperienced in both areas Additionally, watching players sit across from one another on computer screens using Arena is, I think, perhaps one of the most boring ways we could view the game No one has to remember triggers, and the players basically do not interact (Why even bring them to the same city?) brI've watched every pro tour, and since "mythic championship IV" returns to the old model I guess I'll struggle through this one, but there is basically nothing I like about it (I also think having a cast of underdogs and doing interviews with everyone is extremely boring) brAnd while I'm on it, why change to "mythic championship"? I am sure there are some reasons, but it seems far too exaggerated A "mythic championship" happens five times this year?
