As a pianist this makes sense Every new complex piece I decide to learn takes a while, even though most of the pieces take longer than 20 hours to learn well Most hard pieces take a lot longer

I didn’t really understand the step 2 Does it mean you should not try to be perfect but try to reach the level that you realize there’s mistakes? Or just means don’t try to be perfect (at least inside of brain) before actually starting to practice? ( kinda like just start practicing throwing a ball before mastering a way of throwing a ball with books)?

Oh my The major barrier is emotional This is so true I've been practicing chess for a few weeks now and I'm currently in the frustration moat I keep losing and making mistakes I shouldn't and the fear of failing or losing keeps creeping up on me when I want to play brbrWith a renewed mindset and watching you play one of my favorite instrument as good as that,I believe that I can be good in Chess I'm going to go back and put in more 20hrs over and over again till I get good!
