Very good video However, on the fully extended position when you're down, you also completely unlock your shoulders bringing you into a deadlift position which increases your risk of injury Instead, tighten your shoulders and scapula at the bottom of your pull and always keep some space between your traps and ears

I do pull ups correct, but once I start getting sore after about the 8th rep I start slouching like that So I do 5 sets of 10 pullbrUps but usually the last two are hollow and I can’t help it

i did 5 of the arch back pull ups and it healed my forward head posture and cell phone hunch neck I've been to physical therapy a few times this totally fixed all my pinched nerves in my neck also perfect chest puff out posture and it also fixed my pelvic tilt so my lower back is perfect!!! its a damn miracle

As a big guy at 275, pull ups finally clicked for me when I arched the back instead of going up and down It made it so much easier When the weight gets heavy (80 lbs) I seem to default to a hollow pull

Doing pull-ups like that - hollow body like - ended up causing me golfers elbow, unfortunately Now I'm trying to correct it to this more like a "externum"/arched back pull-up, but discovered that despite of once being able to crack around 15 the other way, i can't do not even one this way - first, because it hurts like hell, second because I have to use a wider grip and lastly because I'm weaker in this combination of grip, angle of pulling and etc It sucks

I've been doing the hollow body movement for a long time and I'll try these out instead You also engage the abs quite a bit with the hollow body form and when I do weighted pullups I think they are no longer hollow body Seal rows are another great movement - I do a barbell version of those which does require a bit of equipment
