blockchain is basically a database with no central point of failure there are nodes spread out in the world, each node have a copy of every record in the "database" satoshi solved the big problem of double spending which enables this you would need to attack every single node on the planet (and even the satelite outside the planet), while a traditional database could be wiped with a single bomb but basically its a new form of a database, it will not replace databases entirely but databases that are meant to be public and transparent should be a blockchain

Regarding the point at 7:00 When I was still donating to Ukraine I was specifically looking for donations that would aid the armed forces, cause I knew the majority of people would be donating for peaceful goals like humanitarian aid, I think over the course of the war I've donated 200 in humanitarian and near a 1000 in combat funding, which is nearly half of what I pay in yearly alimony, lol
