Another issue is the dye fading out much too quickly, and having to dye it again quicker Is that a product quality thing, or would I need to bump up the developer from like 20vol to 30?

My hair dresser is using wella koleston perfect 88/0 and 20 vol I have stubborn grays Now we are letting raw color sit on them for 10 min before mixed color goes on It is helping a little BUT gray coming back in two weeks, which is only two washes for me 🤦‍♀️ HELP My shampoo is currently ProDesign Tiger shampoo

Before I ask this question please know that I am aware this is a strange one I am highly allergic to permanent hair colors So allergic that if I smell them too long I start to get itchy I am not however allergic to semi permanent colors at all I can use a semi permanent on my gray hairs and get results but it obviously doesn't last very long Also as it starts to Fade i'm left with orange brassy clown coloring around my perimeter It is at that point I use hair mascara or pull my dreadlocks into a style that covers the perimeter So my question isCan I use a 20 developer WITH a semi permanent hair color? If not, should I be using ash semiperm colors to avoid brassiness? My hair is dark brown but I'm going for an auburn (reddish brown) to cover grays and hair all overbrbrThank you for any advice

Ok Don’t lift 2 or more levels if you’re covering gray unless you want a lot of warmth…brbrWhat if you wanna lift 2 levels, but you don’t want a lot of warmth?? Do you need bleach first?? Just add green/ash additives? Use 30 volume?

I am not a hairdresser I started doing my own hair 16 years ago I have a lot of grays I only touch up my roots I highlight as needed, every 2nd or 3rd time I use nn and add a little of ash to my formula, with 20 vol developer it seems to be working well for me this way Love your videos

My question is: how do you manage to tone down the brasiness with all those highlights? I always wanted a color that's around 7 at the base and highlights, but I always have the problem of initially having a pretty cool toned base and after 3 weeks it gets so brassy, and if I had the highlights how can I tone down the brassy brown without overtoning the highlights? Story of my life, that's why I've been an allover blonde for so long, I'm naturally a level 6
