How do I pull up and extend the antenna length on my new phone like I do on my old phone?

Is it technically possible for two phones with built-in 4G antennas to communicate or share data or signals directly without connecting to a cell tower ? If the answer is no bris it a hardware limitation or a software limitation or it's just not legal ? if the answer is yes why there are no Android apps or IOS apps that make use of it ? sorry for long question and thanks in advance

whats the best aproach to adding celluar connectivity to a rural area with weak cell signal with all carrier support, can I just add an antenna to an amplifier and broadcast that signal to an indoor antenna?

In NONE of these cases you CONNECTED an antenna to YOUR (existing) phone (everybody has an old phone, like S4 or 5), but to some other device I expected (at least) that you will show us, how to find internal antenna (fe Inverted F), cut microstrip and solder UFL or to tell us brands and models with internally exposed MMCX or UFL

G’day mate have you had a look at the Telstra tough max phones (ZTE T84, T85, T86)? I’ve been using these for years with patch cord connected to external antenna on vehicles/machinery Service wise they are second to none when connected to antenna The phones themselves are pretty low quality and the antenna ports break eventually if you are doing a lot of plugging and unplugging the patch cord You’re spot in with the data modem as many new phones can do wifi calling

Hi can we connect omni directional external antenna directly to internal patch panel or ceiling roof antenna for stable network for voice calls as signal booster are illegal here

Great informative video I am trying to research if there's a way to connect a retrofitted car oem 4g mimo shark fin type antenna with oem small compensator amp, to my phone I obviously need some kind of box of tricks to handle the mimo twin cable recieve and single cable transmit etc I don't want to use a data sim router and don't need or want WiFi Is there a simple solution to get the benefit of the twin mimo antenna connected to my phone with a simple £5 internal repeater?

Even if voice is a priority you may be able to go down the data and call over WiFi route
