Just to reassure my understanding of the sell stop order, the example in the video means that the order will be put on the market and start selling at $1687 and ideally all gets filled at that price, but just in case if the market will be plunging too fast, we set the limit price to $1685 so that the 2 dollar spread will provide enough buffer to make sure the order gets filled at $1685 right? I'm only thru your explanation of limit orders but I want to point out that I do not think it is correct 100 you are basing your explanation off of coinbase's wording on the general info they have if you look there is also a link to their legal explanation which states it will trigger if the price is "better", that single word is the difference because if you are using the BUY option the logic works in reverse it will not trigger a request to buy until the price is LOWER/ better than that example for a BUY if the current price is $4,000 and you do a buy limit order for $2,000 it will not request your BUY until the current price reaches $2,000 This is from my understanding so far as I'm new so I could be wrong but so far that is how I believe it to work basically the word "greater" is completely the wrong wording Comment from : eksine
