I've just finished a "Blackout Build" myself I've used the Corsair 7000D case (which is much larger); a AIO (Corsair Capellix 170) instead of air cooling; Corsair HX 1000 PSU; replaced all fans - 3 140's on the top mounted AIO and 3 140's on the front grille & 3 120's in the side with ARTICS (I could not get a fourth fan in the side because I have 3 35" HDDs totaling 54TB) ; replaced the stock power cables from the PSU with Corsairs own flexible cables; I'm running a Intel I9 CPU; Asus ROG Strix Z690 mobo and 3070 ROG Strix TI GPU; turned off all RGB lighting, and it is now a dead silent machine that looks very nice without any lighting at all I've had Noctuas as case fans (they were great), but I think that the Artics are on par with them as far as quality airflow and silence And for a lot less money I've nothing against RGB's but this case I've built is for function, not for looks Comment from : Frank G |

it looks amazing BUT there can be a problem when it comes to GPU upgrade, you can't always find black GPUs (for example 3000-4000 series Founders Edition) and after sepnding so much on black parts that GPU will immediately ruin the whole aestheticsbranother problem will be the thickness of the 4000 series and that giant Noctua fan is probably going to make it impossible Comment from : Armdrk3233 |
