Useless I live in a Country with no person such as this There is a street cat living in our garden and our dog id aggressive towards everyone Jumping, barking, literally running to the noise And when she saw the cat she jumped on her, luckily i saw her run into the garden ( she escaped indoors ) and i grabbed her before she could have killed the cat Its sad nobody wants her, she sits mostly on our roof cz she knows its dangerous being on the ground ( on our roof is another roof, we can see her if she is there or not x she is safe from rain and wind ) I think its a little older cat

No the first thing they need to do is show that dog they are not afraid of it…I’ve never been afraid of dogs I went up to complete strays and I’ve never been bit but dogs can sense emotions…that’s everyone’s first mistake is not showing the animal assertiveness and affection…

On another channel, there has been a rather nasty disagreement between positive trainers and "balanced" trainers The balanced folks swear ALL dogs showing aggression need choke collars, prong collars, or shock collars I argue that that only makes aggression worse and (once your rule out pain or medical conditions), positive reinforcement can address aggression I get told I'm "killing" dogs because owners won't "put up with" this and if they don't stop the behavior immediately, the dog will get put down Therefore, they're saving dogs' lives and I'm killing dogs

They probably ignored the dogs warning signs for wanting to be left alone, aka crossing the dogs boundaries And now the dog feels the need to communicate in stronger ways such as growling/biting in order to be listened to
