What type of cpu did you clean in this video? Soon as you say this never happens to me - it does I have been building for more years than I can count and soon as I call someone a dummy online for bending cpu pins I do the same thing myself The mobo took a crap and I was taking the heatsink off to remove the cpu and it stuck to the bottom of the heatsink I was able to straighten them out using a mechanical pencil , a needle and my bad eyesight LoL !!!

I read some time back a genius way to straighten the pins by using a mechanical pencil, at least I thought it sounded genius I've only had Intel cpus so I can't say for sure

As long as you have non conductive thermal paste (basically any modern paste) this is a non issue and arguably on ryzen not worth the risk

my processor died the day after i bought my first rig im still battling with amd for the guarantee, they claim the pins lost its shine for cleaning with isopropil ir wasnt even a blob of paste i cleaned, more like a string that slapped on the side when removing the fan they sent it to repair but still not fond of paying 500$ for something "fixed" after a month n half of purchase
