It would have been nice if you had added basic power analyzer/profiler funtionality in your software eg Ah, mAh, Wh etc over time so that we can analyze verious power profile of the load

I bought a new DPS3005 Commnunication version While the old DPS3005 works still perfectly, the new one produces the error message 'Connection exception' after I hit 'Connect',bralthough the old device was not connected to power when I started the DPS3005 PC Software If I must in some way deactivate the old device, how can I do it?

With the DPS3005 PC Software V13 it works But the Software would be much better, if the Output Voltage and Current curves would consider the Voltage and Current settings as maximum of the Y-axis

Mine always runs in constant voltage mode which is quiete annoying since the power supply is sometimes not abled to detect a high ampere load For example I have a 100W hand vacuum cleaner for my bench and without the CC mode I only get the 100W out of it when I double the input voltage from 12 to 24 volts It is originally designed for cars Normally it uses 8,3 amps but in cv mode it just uses about 2,4 amps to about 4,2 amps Besides that it is a really awesome bench power supply!

I received two DPS5005 about a week ago, with USB supportand already done some testing:brBoth working great, *no issues*tested on various conditions, except feeding reversed voltage from another supply into the ouputs, because it´s not an four quradrant power supply and this will probably kill it, but i tested a 100000µF/63Volt cap charged it up to 48Volts (my input voltage) with 5Amps, shut the DPS down after fully charged, power it up again without discharging the cap, but leaving it at the output terminalsbrDid the same test with a 1Henry 10Amp EI130Core inductor, no issues even with its heavy back EMC/EMF caused voltage spike during shut down brbrbrThe USB interface is great, but the software still needs some ReWork in my opinion brbr- It should remember the interface settings Important fix this first :)br- I still want more sequence points and also a loop feature, to let it run a couple of times until infinitybr- export the graph plots into a textfile for future usagebr- add a graph history, add horizontal slidersbrbrI ordered these 5005 because Dave (EEVBLog) and Andreas Spiess (the Guy with the Swiss accent) done a quick review a while ago, and i was about designing an old fashioned dual linear power supply with a bunch of 2N3055 and thought the 5005 would be a nice trybrbrI still could add a linear supply for delicate audio setups to power, anyway and benefit from a pre-regulated voltage inputbrbrThanx for your great work :)

I am excited to try out the new DPS5005-C devices I got today But so far, I only see "Connection Exception" error after I type in COM4 (USB) or COM5 (Bluetooth) and hit Connect How can I debug this? I see "USB Serial CH340 (COM4)" in the Devices control panel

the remote control is a very nice addition , if the remote control supported wifi which is already deployed and cover larger areas not for a specific reason , just a practical point of view bri have seen cheap chips to add wifi esp8266 is one i have used as a user not a developer
