PSA:- R5F100LLAFB, AND R5F100LLAFA are NOT the same the LLA variant will not fit the PS4 as the pins are spaced 065mm instead of 05mm, despite being the same chip underneath Discovered it the hard way lol

This is only to go one version back not to downgrade it If you update from 90 to 1001 t0 1050 you can only goto 1001 One step back

All the time I ask myself if we can trick the SysCON to load the other slot of the HDD to access the older firmware brCan't we just "swap" the partition/files of the PS4 HDD with the older firmware? brbrI mean yeah seek the HDD data until you find the bits and dots of the two firmware installed and copy-paste to the active slot

13:01, it seems that you are pulling the chip too much You are risking the pads from getting pulled out from the board When you heat up a soldered chip, you just take your time and let the solder melt, and you'll be surprised that the chip will not require effort or pressure to be removed from the board On your case, it flew right off, and you were lucky no board pads came off flying along with the chip -- there is a chance that 1 out of 48 pads isn't melted enough - that 1 pad is enough to make a fun day going downhill
