My workaround is to connect the analog audio input of the HD60 to my TV's headphone jack (via the 4-pole 35mm cable that came with the HD60) My TV does the downmix to stereo and the HD60 records this analog signal Not the best solution in regards of quality, but the quickest and cheapest fix Comment from : RudolphRandolphRübenrunkler

ypu are wrong you dont need any splitter - check the otpion in elgato game capture ypu can simpy get the sound 51 thrught you sound card and get the stereo sound on your elgato Comment from : Space Empiria

if your AV receiver has hdmi inputs you just need the hdmi splitter - btw coaxial /optical is ALWAYS two channel you do not have real dolby with your method Comment from : Anton
