I and many others would argue that the USS Arizona IS NOT ABANDONED! While she is unsalvageable, she is still carried on the rolls as active duty She is a national monument and people are not allowed willy nilly go diving around and thru her She is also the final resting place for not only many of the sailors that perished that day, but many of the survivors among her crew chose to be interred with their shipmates once they died as well She is guarded not only by the US National Park Service, but the US Navy as well As US Navy ships enter and exit Pearl Harbor they render the USS Arizona a salute! She is NOT abandoned!!!

The wreckage of the "telamon" is also an easy one to visit if you're on the isle of Lanzarote It can be seen with most of the stern and bridge still above water in a bay near Punta Grande Look for it on street view

Kind of surprised the Amoco Cadiz wasn't mentioned either About 12 miles off the coast of Brittany, France the supertanker sank in 1978 causing the largest oil spill in history up to that point It's about 100ft or so down sitting in 3 large pieces and is considered the largest shipwreck in the world

I live in Jeddah, and at South Jeddah there are 5 wrecks you can visit in a couple of kilometres stretch of beach One of them is a scary ghost ship, and another is a cruise ship right on the beach It is so cool

I'm surprised you didn't include HMHS Britannica, sister ship of the Titanic, she was a hospital ship during the 1st WW and was sunk when she hit a German mine and now lies in 400ft of water in the Kea Channel; a strait of water between the island of Kea and island of Makronisos in Greece Admittedly the wreck site is probably only accessible to experienced scuba divers, but it is well worth a visit

HMVS Cerberus is in Port Phillip near Melbourne HMVS is Her Majesties Victorian Ship when Queen Victoria was our Queen It was the flag ship of the Victoria Colonial Navy before federation in 1901 It was sunk as a breakwater in the 1920 's at Half Moon Bay also in Port Phillip and is still visible but is detreating It was a semi submersible ship and could submerge only exposing the two gun turrets and the bridge The two guns in each turret were only muzzle loaders so the crew has to move onto the deck to load the projectiles and propellant It never fired a shot in anger but one practice round did land in the coastal suburb of Brighton, oops It is all on Wikipedia I live nearby and have been the wooden deck a few decades ago when I sailed my small yacht to its location
