Idk if it’s because I’m on a 100 pop atm but my fps just went from 80-90fps to 170-180 fps, also enabled xmp on my memory tho 2133 - 3600 so maybe that’s also something that effected it

a guide that actually works, goddamn, just went from 50-60 in high pop to 90-120 fps thanks a lot brjust a heads up, setting max gibs to 0 still gives you gibs sometimes, so just do effectsmaxgibs -1 in console for no gibs ever

Thanks, much more stability in the game after the settings Also upgrade your ram, rust needs up to 15 gigs of ram and if you are running windows, it takes about 5 gigs as well, so you are short Good luck mate

Full screen isn't just about more FPS, which is negible 1-5fps most times if that What it truly does is removes latency to the game, because your PC is focused on the game In borderless, the game wont take priority always over other programs So introduces possible input lag or screen delay(which is alot harder to notice), depending on your setup

It didn't bring me an FPS increase, but the graphics became significantly uglier I reset the nvidia settings, but not the other settings, so maybe the micro lags are gone Overall, thank you

I ain't gonna lie my fps capped at 120! When I seen it go to 200 after this I reset my control panel setting and just did high performance not what he had and I'm over 150 again but still not seeing that 201 I seen before this was so NOT helpful

Capping your fps is actually something pretty much everyone should do, just at different values depending on your monitor's refresh rate and the amount of frames your system is capable of squeezing out per second :P leaving it uncapped has no benefit to it whatsoever, it just uses up more resources for absolutely no gain
