Yeah I literally got my PS3 didn't have sound and I did what you did and it turns out that I actually didn't have my TV sound on I literally muted it and I didn't realize it lol 🤣😆

I'm getting extremely pissed off that it's the same exact solution on every single video or web page Like for christs sake the ps3 is making no sound at all No start up sound No sound whatsoever The cable is fine because I just used it on my Xbox one, and before that I was using the cable from my PS4 I used the ps3 just a couple weeks ago and it worked fine
