The answer given is only good for a mathematicien As an engineer, I would propose this answer instead;brbrThey all three get on the bike and it would take them five hours Considering that the bike is design by an engineer, we could expect the margin of safety on the performance of the bike is more than enough to keep it running for that duration, we could be confident enough to say that this is close to the shortest time requiredbr brThey could also make it in less time if you take into consideration the maximum speed they could reach Again the bike is design to perform at a maximum speed for a long duration For a short duration, you could exceed the maximum recommended speed if you don't care for the bike to bring you back safely This is harder to predict because it depends a great deal on the abilities of the pilot and is willingness to exceed the speed limits of the road Here we could make an estimation that they would not be willing to exceed a speed twice the recommended maximum of the bike In that case, they will not arrive for at least 25 hours brbrSo, my estimation would be between 25 and 5 hours And this is why engineers are always required to solve complex problems in real life! I would not hire anyone writing the units of kilometers and hours as "kms", "hr", "hrs", "kmrs", "HR", "KM", "Km", "hs" or whatever random combination of letters they come up with These are SI-derived units We have standards If you actually don't know, it is "km" and "h" Always People who don't use them are obviously ignorant Would YOU hire programmers who are clever, but obviously ignorant?
