Ok, speaking as someone who grew with this movie and unironically loves it, I’ll be the first to admit that the casting for Venom was bad Like they cast the dude from that 70s show to play Venom? The pumpkin bomb didn’t actually kill both Venom and Eddie Brock as they were just introduced to the Sam Ramini’s Spider-Man franchise before it was cancelled and replaced by the MCU Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man duology and they can’t kill villains off that easily especially when they are first introduced and it instead teleported them both to Kylantar home planet of the symbiotes and would later play a role in the spin-off Venom movie to the Sam Ramini’s Spider-Man franchise that also features Carnage and Spider-Man 5 or 6 but the film alongside Spider-Man 4 (Which featured Lizard/Curt Conners), Spider-Man 5 (Which featured Vulture or Mysterio and revived Green Goblin/Harry and Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus) and Spider-Man 6 (Which brought back Venom/Eddie Brock) were all cancelled when Sony Pictures instead decided to reboot the live-action Spider-Man franchise twice first with the Amazing Spider-Man films with the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man and later the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the Tom Holland Spider-Man and the Venom spin-off movie was later finally produced as the first film of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe with new versions of Venom and Eddie Brock instead But still, the pumpkin bomb didn’t kill Venom and Eddie but instead teleported them to Kylantar Comment from : @IndriidaeNT |
