Notice just how much characterization there is in the interactions in the original Armageddon intro Kenshi saving Ermac, who taught him the tele-slam; it appearing that Ermac is going to return the favor only for it to be Shang Tsung breaking up the Deadly Alliance, Liu Kang getting his revenge, etc Now notice how little there is in 1's reimagining Just infinite clones of characters, all lacking the motivations that made the original Armageddon so intriguing A schlock fest of meaningless cameos Infinite timelines, yet the writers only seem to have had one idea, turning character x into character y Disappointing

MK1 finale is just confusing, Even though the Outworld conflict and the depiction of Liukang's new world have a lot of potential and could be explored more, but everything was ruined by the presence of Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat 11, who for some reason uses Shang Tsung's face model in the Liukang universe

Why didn’t they make onaga the villain it would make so much sense since it’s dealing with the multiverse the game could have been a little longer too and they could have added like 3 or 4 more characters since they had that big multiverse fight at the end feel like there were so many missed opportunities in mk1
