Doubt you’ll read this but just had a problem recently setting this up I’ve literally set this up just the way you said it I stream so I use a capture card When I’ve done all these steps in the Xbox settings when switching the audio setting to Dolby Digital it switches right back to stereo uncompressed Any idea on how to fix this? Or was this an update that they patched and therefore the audio extractor is of no use anymore Thank you

Right now when I stream with a aux cord plugged in, I Get a lot of static into my headset, and when streaming, stream is unable to hear my xbox party chat Will buying this splitter fix that problem? If you have time, id like to dm and let you know what I am running? thanks bro!

Why tho? HDMI Arc has much better support and tends to give you more control over the audio output Optical is pretty limiting

I just bought Astro A50 gen 4 for XSX - this saved the day I guess Otherwise I would be forever changing the usb cable between PC and Xbox Astro should really release a firmware update so the power can be fed by the XSX
