Dark mode is sort of useless in LCD equipped displays ,aside from one benefit of reduced eye strain, it will not help in battery efficiency due to LED backlight always shining throughhowever dark mode will heavily benefit OLED equipped products eg : iphone x,xs due to individual lighting of pixels
