When buying the Noctua cooler you should check the compatibility online with your case so you don't have to "cross your fingers" I was using an MSI MAG Coreliquid 360r but it fell victim to the usual sediment buildup so I have replaced it with a Noctua NH D15 Chromax It's a huge ugly brute but it works and side effect is that I've been able to lose the 360 radiator which was blocking airflow into my PC

No matter what I’m doing my heatsink screws won’t bite I’ve tried different screw drivers more or less pressure and everything but nothing will bite Its like they designed it to be as hard to install as possible Like seriously who thought springed screws was a good idea

hello, i have a smaller case and had to mount this facing upwards blowing air out the top(vertical instead of horizontal), would this affect performance at all of the cpu fan? Would it not work properly?

just sow your video and thanks i m installing an nh15 too :), i my opinion you should buy another thermal paste than the nh1 provided , i buy the grizzly kryonaut and if you check some test in youtube the difference between both is 10 degrees less in full charge for the grizzly ,so it s a big difference

The only issue I had was with the thermal compound acting as glue When I tried to re-place it it ripped the cpu out of the socket and I didn't notice until i wanted to check the cpu but oh no! there's no cpu! wait a damn minute ITS ON THE FUCKING COOLER!?!? bent pin, fixed waiting for psu for test

I have the Noctua NH-D15 myself on a Ryzen 3900XT with one Noctua 140mm industrial 3000 RPM PWM installed in the center The fan is definitely tamed with a fan curve I don't waste my time with gimmicky water cooling
