That is definitely not the average, Pilots can start from as low as £30K and more in the UK only make around £50K per year, that's still good but they deffo don't make 700K

So, I’m a pilot, and lemme tell you you do NOT need a 4 year degree, but it is still something to have as a bonus lol But it’s not required And we get paid so much because our job is actually very difficult Learning to fly was one of the hardest things I had to do, but with a little repetition, I did it with no problem Just keep flying, and it’ll seem like breathing ☺️☺️
