huge fan of Qasim Ali shah's teachings however dont agree with woman being called 'kum aqal' yes she is physically weak and fragile and so are children hence Islam asked men to be kind and gentle with her however she is not 'kum aqal' If wise people like Qasim Ali will refer a woman like that, other people will follow please Men in our society are using this alot and women are being bullied using this term Aqal can not be guaged by individuals, Its a gift from Allah and He can bless anyone with it sometimes even a child can be more aqal mand (wise) Yes physically weak and fragile is the established fact for women and children in general but not intelligence/wisdom Comment from : winsome |
