bUPDATE/b - Several people have commented on the number of these videos recently I will return to hardware stuff, I needed a week off, these are easy to make, so it gave me a bit of a break :)

No shit, a Q6600 can be over clocked from 24ghz to 30ghz with a small piece of electrical tape By placing a piece of tape over certain contacts on the cpu it will cause the FSB to run at 1333mhz instead of 1066mhz I believe this also works on the Q6700 to overclock from the stock 266ghz to 333ghz but decent cooling is needed Its been some years so I'm a foggy on these old overclocks

I'd love to see you do the tape mod overclock to the q6600, it works on most every system without issues and bumps the clocks up to 3ghz without any changes to the bios look into it!

Would we be able to get a Will It Play for World of Warcraft? Interested to see what is needed to play at high settings, especially in some of the new legion dunegon/raid zones which are a bit more intensive

Hey Tech Deals, can you test the q6600 with Assassins Creed Origins? I have the GTX 1050, but whenever i want to start the game it just crashes, with no feedback whatsoever Is it cpu side problem?

As I'm sure you know if you just do the tape mod on the cpu it will trick the motherboard and set a 1333mghz fsb A 3gig clockspeed on a locked motherboard 2 thumbs up!

It's getting EXTERMELY annoying to have you keep saying you can't overclock on that Vostro computer It's quite easy to OC a Q6600 from 24 GHz to 30 GHz with two small pieces of tape How much longer are you going to keep misleading your viewers that it isn't possible? That's doing a severe disservice to your viewers and, to be quite honest, calls your computer tech knowledge and skills into question brbrGoogle BSEL mod to see how it's done It's so easy even a caveman can do it Anyone who claims to be a so-called knowledgeable tech reviewer should have the rudimentary skill set to accomplish this
