Good guide for beginners I think it will actually save A TON of time for newbies who are trying to improve I would add that they should find their sweet settings like sensitivity for example in the early stages of their game and keep them consistently through the years

The rotation tip exists for any military strategy style game When you shoot, people are able to triangulate your position Games like Rust and Dayz exhibit this principle well I find success in, once shooting (kill or no kill) to rotate to a new position and watch the position you were at before

the crosshair placement tip is very NA, you need to lead your crosshair into the place you think the enemy will be, otherwise you will be aiming at a wall, the amount of times i’ve seen teammates lose easy clutches to the crosshair placement tunnel vision is insane, basically as you are aiming through the wall there is always a possibility that the enemy will swing you from closer than you might predict, that’s not something you want, you need to play dynamically with the map, the only time you want to truly follow that piece of advice is if you are 100 sure that the enemy is behind that wall you are aiming through, this might be a good player telling you something but I can garantuee you that you will die more often if you follow that step by applying it everytime you are peeking something, what I am saying is use your brain a little more and get used to leading your crosshair into place as you peek as to never aim at a wall

I like to think I have excellent crosshair placement, and the other day I had a great pistol round and someone in comms actually mentioned it and was like "your xhair placement is actually godlike" and it felt so good Also, I struggle with the positive mindset thing a lot, but it is true I know this is an extreme example, but when you go down 14-1 on a half, don't completely give up, because sure they got 14 rounds in 1 half, but that means you can too It's a new half, a new side, and basically a whole different game at that point; maybe they were t or ct sided players and now you're just gonna shit on them when they switch sides You never know Its not over till its over
