The procedure didn't fix the problem until I reached the second to last step, re-registering Spotlight using PowerShell Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to copy the PowerShell command shown in the video and paste it into my PowerShell window (be sure to look carefully at the screenshot of the PowerShell window; get spaces and formatting characters, eg, -, |, {, _, etc, in the right place) Despite this challenge, the problem was fixed and I am MOST grateful I was getting tired of seeing the same picture even though quite beautiful Thanks very much!
